The Data Quality module helps businesses assess and improve the accuracy of their data. It checks if fields and attributes are complete and correctly filled based on custom rules set by the user. Unlike the older Completeness module, it does not enforce required fields but provides a flexible scoring system to evaluate data quality in percentages.
This module allows you to:
- Create both simple and complex validation rules.
- Receive percentage-based quality assessments with each check having its own score factor, allowing different weights for rules in the overall evaluation.
- Enjoy fast calculations: the module operates significantly faster than the previous Completeness module and does not affect import or batch processing speeds.
- Analyze any fields and attributes without impacting their required status in the system.
- Each check can have a unique name, description, and tooltip for user simplicity.
Data Quality provides more detailed control over data quality than Completeness, allowing users to flexibly configure validation rules and assess their significance.
