Renditions

The Renditions module is built for teams who regularly need the same file in multiple formats (for example, a CAD drawing as an image, an Office document as a PDF, a graphic resized for the web, and many more) so that files stored in a certain format become available in others more suitable for sharing, embedding, or preview.  This module handles the file transformation inside the system without any manual, external steps. 

How it works

The module works with a range of widely used conversion tools: Dia, Inkscape, LibreOffice, Gimp, Ghostscript, and ImageMagick. You get full control over which conversions are available in your system. 

Creating a converted version of a file takes a few clicks: select the conversion type, set any output preferences, and confirm. The rest happens in the background. The converted file stays linked to the original, so if the original is ever updated, the conversion is redone automatically. There is no risk of outdated versions circulating in the system.

The Renditions module allows you to
